A wonderful pair of French art deco wall sconces in nickel plated bronze and clear frosted moulded-pressed glass. It was made around 1925-28. This model is signed Hettier & Vincent around the hole on top. The shades were exclusively produced for Hettier & Vincent by verreries des Hanots. The wall lights as well as the shades are represented in the old Hettier et Vincent catalog. See last 3 pictures. The catalog is no part of this sale.
The sconces are about 20,5 cm (8,1") high and project 21 cm from the wall (8,8 inches). The shades have a diameter of 11,5 cm. The pair is in very good condition. I have re-nickeled and patinated the bronze fixtures. The lamps are rewired with American candelabra base sockets.
