Amazing storage foot locker dating back to the 1940s/50s. Original green color has been painted black in spots. Stenciled military specs inside lid (Mil-L 10798 QMC - 1952 -- Freeman Store Equipment Co In). Outside of lid is stenciled "US". Made of wood with heavy duty metal hinges. Front clasp is able to have a lock added to it. Has tray inside. Tray has wood dividers that have been added. Lid opens and closes easily and has good hinges. Has wood handles on the sides.
Measures approx 32" long x 16" deep x 13" tall. Structurally in great condition, and sits flush and flat. There are no weak points. Piece shows scratches, bumps, and surface wear. Can carry a lot of weight and is a strong box. less
