A giraffe in an exotic tropical landscape, in old master colors of raw umber, naples yellow, burnt sienna, and yellow ochre. Inspired by traditional 19th century British Colonial style paintings by such artists as William Skilling. Mixes well with Contemporary European, Country French, Mediterranean, or Chinoiserie decor. Animals with botanical accents in a jungle landscape.
This coordinates well with another painting shown here, but must be purchased separately.
Gouache on Strathmore Watercolor paper, UV matte varnish, ready to pop into a standard size 11x14 frame. I use only professional grade paint and paper, to insure longevity of the painting.
