Gorgeously coloured butterflies and … more Striking hexagonal-form vases or Chinese hat stands, a pair, made on the Island of Macau, ROC.
Gorgeously coloured butterflies and flowers painted in bright enamels against a black glaze with repeating scrolls painted in lime green throughout.
Each is marked on the underside with a Mark - Da Qing Tongzhi Nian Zhi-Great Qing Tongzhi - stamped in red. Made in the former Portuguese Colony of Macau, Mid 20th. Century.
They are very eye catching and the contrast of colours is superb.
Condition is excellent.
Vintage, from the early Peoples Republic of China period.
