Table made in northern India/Pakistan border region. We found this table at an estate auction in NW MI (go figure). It was love at first sight. We loved the tribal look, the fact that it was handmade/painted, the details and folk art appeal. We were told this was made around the turn-of-the-century and it clearly shows it has lived a full life. We have included several pictures for your review. We love finding and keeping things in "as found" condition. So all we have done to this is wipe it off with a microfiber cloth. There is wear throughout to the finish, an old hinge repair that can be clearly seen; the top finials and a couple of the feet show gouges. We are not sure if the top finials were made that way as it appears they were painted when the gouges were already present. The flaw to the two feet appear to be actual flaws. We have pictures for your review. We could see this as part of an eclectic loft decor, boho chic design or worked in as a statement/conversation piece' Measures: 24" tall (including the top finial) 21" tall (without the top finial) x 24" square. Please review the photographs to see the condition details up close. This table is structurally solid and is a heavy piece of furniture. We were told this table was used as a small alter.
