Piece was designed by Harry Burger. Original issue of 750. Later declared to be smaller. She stands on a lobster that could be related to a Buddhist folk tale but not part of the description of the piece. Beautiful piece with subtle details on this fine piece. In some parts of the world this figure is a male but in China she is a female.. She has such a beautiful face and expressive hands. She is still a treasure today. She has the hand written Cybis and issue number on her base. The bottom of the piece is impressed Cybis 1971. She is without any damage or repairs. less
