Description: This one is special. It is a vintage rattan birdcage that once belonged to the grandmother of a member of … more This one is special. It is a vintage rattan birdcage that once belonged to the grandmother of a member of my close circle of friends. It includes a swinging monkey with white eyes surrounded by red "spectacles." It's general age and provenance is known, but artist cannot be 100% authenticated.
We'd like to see it go to a custodian who will appreciate its provenance and fragility, as well as a true aficionado of vintage Oliver Cajan and Mario Lopez Torres.
In the style of Oliver Cajan and
Mario Lopez Torres., which could be authentic, but I am not an expert on these particular artists.
