An elegant pair of mid century modern lounge chairs in oak, cushions reupholstered in high quality grey wool. Designed by Folke Ohlsson for the Swedish company AB Svenska Möbelfabrikerna Bodafors in 1961. Model "Frisco/5-156", better known as the scissors chairs. These examples are in a great vintage condition and refinished with care. with a heavy focus on functionality, this design style leans toward modernism, while incorporating coziness. The Scandinavian design style aims to provide a way for people to live more sustainably and in harmony with one another. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker.
