The chairs have a solid wood frame, very beautiful and original of the period. There are four supporting legs and they are punched, straight and hard. The ferrules are made of brass and are perfectly patinated.
The seat is framed by two fairly thick wooden bars, with bolts fastening them to the velvet.
The seat and back are made of a soft beige velvet, original to the period. The velvet is original, with no holes or tears.
The backrest is small, high and narrow.
The chairs are beautiful and are ideal for vintage and elegant dining areas. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
