Found in the South of France, this 20th Century Hotel Silver Silverplate Creamer was manufactured by Christofle and produced for the La Residence Hotel. The piece is hallmarked on the side with an emblem that is most likely the hotel logo with La Residence. The underside is hallmarked with symblols, Christofle, L 0.500. The piece features a beautiful handle and spout. Highly collectible, hotel silver is a very heavy silver plate, usually triple plated over another type of metal to make it durable for hotel and commercial use. This creamer has been used and loved through the years and the imperfections add to the patina.
