This hand-carved wooden statue of Zheng He depicts him sitting in a thoughtful position. He is wearing a traditional Chinese robe and hat, and his hands are folded in his lap. The statue is made of tan wood, and it is approximately 7.5 inches tall.
Zheng He was a Chinese explorer, diplomat, and fleet admiral during the Ming dynasty. He is best known for leading seven expeditions to the Indian Ocean and Southeast Asia between 1405 and 1433. Zheng He's voyages were the largest and most impressive maritime expeditions ever undertaken by any single nation until the 19th century.
This statue is a beautiful and unique piece of art that would make a great addition to any home or office. It is also a great way to learn more about one of China's most famous explorers.
