I included photos of the places where the glaze has chipped off, but I think it only adds the character. There is some obvious grazing in the glaze. I noticed there is a couple of chips on the top of the pedestal dish. Other than that this piece is in great condition. How is already drilled for planting less

These were made c 1903-5 and the stand and planter are given the respective names Gnomme and Sigurd in Liberty catalogues’ of the period. These were probably made by liberty and sons Co, and not by Mary Seton Watt’s Compton pottery as is often stated.
This is the "Sigurd" pot.
A Liberty & Co Sigurd terracotta jardiniere designed by Archibald Knox, cast in low relief with a band of entrelac, four loop handles. Incredible rare to surface, let alone complete with the beautiful art nouveau "Celtic" design archival Knox was best known for.
The pot itself measures 20 and three-quarter inches wide by 9 1/2 inches tall.
Pedestal measures a total of about 17 inches wide by 27 1/2 inches tall less
