A pair of framed antique engravings depicting Shakespeare scenes. Neither have been examined outside of their frames. Both engravings appear to be antique, however, the actual date of production is unknown. The original date(s) or production are set forth below.
Act 5, Scene 5 from Julius Ceasar, "Brutus and Strato". After a painting by R. Westall. Engraved by S. Noble. Published in 1802 by J&J Boydell. This print, in a larger version, is found at the British Museum.
First Part of King Henry VI, "Joan La Purcelle & Friends". After a painting by William Hamilton. Engraved by Anker Smith. Published in 1795 by J&J Boydell.
