'All our vintage jugs are made using traditional methods here in the heart of Stoke on Trent. They are made from sturdy earthenware pottery, which makes them very hard-wearing and durable. Our jugs are very versatile and can be used for pouring liquids or for decorative purposes. Because we offer 6 sizes of straight jugs they are used in tearooms, winebars, restaurants, and for floral displays all around the world. Because each one is made individually by hand they all vary slightly and each one is unique. We decorate our jugs beautifully, using chintzes or spray decals produced by lithography and applied individually by skilled craftspeople trained to very high standards in the fine art of lithographing and occasionally hand painting. They make a beautiful addition to a room and are very easy on the eye, they have an alluring appeal to many tastes and make attractive centerpieces. Anyone who receives one of these jugs as a gift is always delighted. A present for people who like a truly luxurious lifestyle.
This is the largest of our straight jugs and measures a magnificent 21.5cm tall with a base diameter of 15cm tapering to 11cm across the top. This impressive jug just looks great anywhere in the home.' less
