This neo gothic decorative finial is hand caved, lacquered in a wonderful shade of gray-blue tone and parcel gilt. Columns, arches and transepts are perfectly distributed on the octagonal base entirely and richly finished with foliate motifs decoration and floral patterns. A big wonderfully carved fleur de lis (lily flower) stands out on top of the spire. This model still displaying most of its original paint, an authentic, highly decorative piece of sculpture art. Richly hand carved and painted, present splendidly, with nicely aged original patina over the whole. Full of charming antique character, warm and historical depth. This architectural steeple is a one of a kind decorative object.
