The relief surrounds the box with a scene of a landscape with farmers working on the land and a horse and on the right a seascape with boats, man with a fish, a wooden barrel. Interior is upholstered in Burgundy colored velours paper Silver hallmarked with year letter B left hind leg for 1886. Master sign of Willem van Baren, worked during 1856-1893, Schoonhoven/ Kralingen. Lion 2 for silver purity of 833/1000. The rest are MC pseudo maker's mark, a fern leave another pseudo maker's mark and a running animal. The measurements are 8 cm high up with handle and 5 cm high down. 15 cm wide and the depth is 6 cm. The weight is 224 grams 1 Inch = 2,54 cm. See less
