A fine vintage Intricately cast from solid bronze well executed example, this type of vase was originally commissioned for high-ranking Chinese nobility to use during ritual offerings to their ancestors more than 3,000 years ago.
The decoration on each of the four sides of the faceted vessel is arranged in horizontal registers divided by vertical notched flanges which are repeated at the corners.
This is a large scale, very heavy fine work.
This vase is marked with a horary reign mark.
Complete with a custom fitted carved hardwood stand.
