Description: This is a very early 1950’s Vintage Secretary Desk made by Barbo’s Furniture made in Stoningham, Massachusetts. Original complementing wood/wicker … more This is a very early 1950’s Vintage Secretary Desk made by Barbo’s Furniture made in Stoningham, Massachusetts. Original complementing wood/wicker chair included.

This maple secretary desk has four front dovetailed drawers, with a drop front table. Two small drawers inside drop table. Overall piece is in good condition with some signs of wear consistent with age, as seen in pictures. Very good condition for age, with only a few marks that are normal for age/use. Solid piece. The two decorative brass pull knobs on the leaf armrests are missing, along with one of the brass drawer handles, but easy to find a close match at a hardware shop.

Has been in our family as single owners since purchase in 1950’s. Complementing chair pictured included with desk purchase. A maple high back chair with a wicker seat. All original.
