Created decades before the World Trade Center was built, it reminds us of the timeless allure of the New York City skyline. Boats and ferries ply the waters offshore of the Battery.

The print has been professionally restored and conserved. It will be shipped to you on archival backing board with clear archival corners and wrapped in acid-free paper. Included are the original labels from Associated American Artists, who marketed and distributed this print. The label has been cleaned and preserved as well.

Paper is about 16.75" wide x 12.25 " high. Image is about 12.5" wide x 10.5" high (height measurement includes artist signature).

Nat Lowell (1880-1956) emigrated from Latvia to the United States and studied at the Art Students League in New York City. He taught at Hunter College. He is best known for his detailed etchings of beloved New York City landmarks.

Nat Lowell's works are represented in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the New York Public Library, the New York Historical Society, and the Library of Congress. less
