This quadruple plated silver dome lidded butter dish was made by the Pairpoint Silver Co. and it was made in … more This quadruple plated silver dome lidded butter dish was made by the Pairpoint Silver Co. and it was made in New Bedford Massachusetts around the 1940's. This silver-plated butter dish was plated with four layers of silver, and it was hand worked by a skilled craftsman who did the repousse work on it featuring the lovely roses, poinsettias, and lily of the valley flowers all the way around the dome lid of the piece. This butter dish measures 7" wide by 4 3/4" tall with the lid and it is in "Excellent Condition" with no cracks, no repairs, and only a slight dent to the top of the piece for the age of it.
