Description: Travelling kettle in silver-plated copper, Louis XV style, traditionally used to boil water for tea and keep it hot, especially … more Travelling kettle in silver-plated copper, Louis XV style, traditionally used to boil water for tea and keep it hot, especially in Asian countries.
It is composed of two elements.
The base, with four chiselled feet, is made of two branches, richly decorated with volutes. It is equipped with a receptacle in its center, which can become a Small Lamp once filled with alcohol and fitted with a wick. This first element of this Samovar will serve as a support for the second, a container with a capacity of about 1.5 liters. It opens with a lid topped by a blackened wooden knob, just like the generous handle above. This Teapot part, rather Sober, however, displays a carved spout. A grid is placed at the base of the spout to prevent the tea leaves from falling into the cup when serving.
The whole, practical, but also historically of Quality and harmoniously decorated, will embellish your moments of Conviviality.
