American Coin Silver has a 90% - 900/1000 Silver Content, and Sterling Silver has a slightly higher 92.5% - 925/1000 Silver Content. Pure Silver is 99.9% Pure - That is to say that it Contains No Other Alloy Metals. Some of Pieces of American Coin Silver items that were produced were marked "Coin" - but it should be Noted that many of the other pieces that were produced during that period Have No Silver Mark At All.
