One of the most excellent sets we have seen - exquisitely hand-carved hong mu rosewood, the frame and legs carved in the form of bamboo interspersed with young shoots. The aprons with open-carved carved work in the form of flowering plum blossoms. All very auspicious and very traditional Chinese in style. Original finish with great color and patina. Such pieces are increasingly sought after these days by collectors.
