Handmade, ceramic pendant light with tapered cone shape, detailed with thin, raised white stripes and playful bird and bead. Hangs from a 4" white cloth covered cord. Ceiling canopy, hanging hardware and bulb included.
My hanging lamps are slip cast, glazed and fired with careful attention to detail at my studio in Seattle. The original shapes are created by hand using the coil and pinch technique. This gives them a softly dimpled surface that reflects light in a pleasing way. Raised white stripes are individually applied. Made by hand, they have unique character and lasting beauty.
The organic shape has a sophisticated "wabi-sabi" charm that is compatible with many home decor schemes.
Consider this lighting fixture over a kitchen island, bar or dining area. It could also hang over a bedside table or end table to give light for reading.
It is a piece of functional art that will add character and style wherever it is hung.
Ceiling mount option comes with a white ceiling canopy and a 4' cord
