This is the perfect lamp for adding an autumnal touch to your living room now that the days are getting shorter and the nights cooler! The background of the ceramic base is a delicate cream color with the decoration painted in muted shades of sage green, gray, yellow and black. I've photographed the front and back of the lamp as well as the sides. The bird motifs are the same on the front and the back, and the sides feature a bird in flight, possibly flying to the South for the winter. The shade is covered in a perfectly matched silk shantung and lined on the inside with a white fabric.
This vintage lamp is in very good condition. There is a small nick in the wooden base (refer to picture 8). The shade is also in good condition other than a few spots on the silk fabric (refer to picture 9). I always like to point out even the smallest of flaws because I would want to know about them before purchasing any item.
The total height of this lamp is 26". The height of the ceramic base is 11" and the width is 8". The height of the shade is 13" and the width at the bottom of the shade is 17". The brown electric cord is a generous 76" in length. less
