"Place Du Tertre" by Jose Luis Leiva, 1985.
A beautiful painting by the great Jose Luis Leiva (1926 - 2018) of one of his famed Paris street scenes: this time the "Place Du Tertre" in the Montmartre district. Stand and stare at this painting long enough and it draws you in and hypnotizes you! It's texture and tone has that real Monet quality to it.
Oil on canvas, it has a gold leaf frame with inner matting which measures: 23" height x 26 1/2" width x 2 1/4" depth.

There's a few millimeters gap from the left edge of the painting to the frame. It's hardly noticeable but I wanted to mention it none the less (see pic). The bottom left hand corner of the frame has some chipping / missing ornate leaf pattern (see pic). The item photos serve as a document as to its condition.
