Add a catered meal from the restaurant of your choice, a card table and two folding chairs and you have a high end restaurant for two in any location. The basket consists of two each Mikasa bone china dinner plates and dessert bowls in simple white designs. The look is ironstone, the durability is far beyond. Bone china is the hardest form of china made. These are actually freezer to oven to microwave safe. It's paired with two glass salad plates embossed with a 24 kt gold art deco design. Two French crystal champagne toasting flutes are set off by the single crystal double old fashioned that serves as candle holder. The shimmer, glimmer and shine of the crystal can only be further set afire by the light of a candle. The silverware is from William Rogers, the design is Guild - Cadence c. 1932 and is extra plate silver, accented with harps with two 3 piece place settings. Table cloth is vintage -either high count cotton or linen monogramed with TEG, with strings on all 4 edges to tie to the card table. Coordinating napkins with Battenberg lace trim are included. The 11.75" cubed Basket is a signed Longaberger from 1988, made of their signature maple with metal nails. All this is topped with a Baldwin Brass porcelain and 24 kt gold art deco dove of peace Christmas ornament still in original box. Long after the Dove adorns the tree- or takes it's place in your home- this quality date basket can be kept for special occasions- either out and about or for a special table for two at home.
