Eight petite, beautiful green Bordallo Pinherio plates with raised lily pads, frogs, flowers and tiny dragonflies., all in keeping with the company's tradition of richly detailed designs celebrating nature.
Four of the plates are in a rich darker green glaze and four are in a complementary lighter green, but the designs are identical. The artist's skillful use of glazing highlights the decorations, creates depth and enhances the beauty of the plates.
These saucer-like plates can be used for appetizers, with tealights or as a base for small garden pots. Perfect for a garden party or anytime you want to bring the peace and beauty of the countryside into your home.
Made in Portugal by the firm founded by the renowned potter Rafael Bordallo Pinheiro. An increasingly rare, discontinued pattern from the 1990s.
