This design is dating to about 1830 and was made at the Hancock, Massachusetts Shaker community. The top and drawer are supported by a precisely-cut dovetailed yoke. The drawer is dovetailed both front & back and is accessible from either direction. Ideal for for instance chess pieces.
Material: solid clear Pennsylvania cherry. Height is 26". Top measures 21" wide x 17 3/8" depth. This piece has an attribution mark,
