This table makes a nod to the Bauhaus ethos that the visibility of an items construction becomes the reasons for its aesthetic values and quality. The straight grain of the wood further accentuated its long rectangular shape and highlights the inset legs by making them more visible by breaking that linear flow across the table. This detail revealing the craftsmanship feels reminiscent of Nakashima and the American Craft Movement.
