Chairs are heavy and beautifully made to last. There are a few spots that show some wear but very few. The casters work great but it looks to be 3 have been replaced with other heavily made ones on one chair. One other chair has lost half of the caster covering. The table is very heavy and has one leaf that goes with it. It has some minor small scratches but that is just the usual wear of all the years it's been around. The chrome on the table and the chairs are a bit scratched. I believe it's from years of pushing the chairs back under the table. I have more specific pictures of those places. Just message me and id be happy to answer any questions and send the rest of the pictures over. Please look very carefully at the pictures before you purchase. As a reminder, I wouldn't sell anything I wouldn't use in my own home. This set is amazing and it's wonderful to use just the way it is. less

I had the lady hold it for me because I could just feel the coolness vibing out from the pictures. The woman's parents bought it brand new and she used it as a child, then it was passed down to her to use in her own home, and she just was ready for something else. She told me this on a beautiful, sunny fall day as she was scraping paint off an old house she was fixing up. As I carefully looked over each piece I was very ecstatic to see that although a good cleaning was in order it was in excellent shape. Sure the years always have a way of showing up but to me that is the allure, the beauty, of why we love to buy vintage pieces. I looked and looked to find a table and chairs just like this one and I simply couldn't. There are ones that come close but this table with the black trimming is one I did not see. I am over the moon to be able to get this piece out there for someone who appreciates the versatile style, beauty, and sophistication it brings into your home. less
