The item offered is a nice shell-carved Chippendale-style block front bachelor chest with brass bail pulls. It is cherry wood with a brown cherry finish. It is a nice size for a bedroom or for an accent chest in the living room, hallway, entry way, etc. The 4 drawers glide well and the chest has a clear glass top protector. The brown cherry finish has a faux ages look that makes this chest a handsome decorative and useful storage piece for many different rooms.

- The chest is in nice vintage used condition with slight signs of wear typical with use and age but it … moreThe chest is in nice vintage used condition with slight signs of wear typical with use and age but it was gently used. The 4 drawers glide well. No chips, splits, cracks, odors, deep scratches, or repairs. The drawers had liners in the bottom so they are extra clean with no stains or scuffs. The top has a protected clear glass cover and there are still a few light surface scratches on the top. It has no markings but is good quality. It is structurally sound and quite handsome. less
