The Lamberton Works first opened in 1869 in … Read more Antique serving platter in the Indian Tree pattern by Lamberton Works/Maddock China. The Lamberton Works first opened in 1869 in New Jersey operating for several years before selling in 1888 to Thomas Maddock, whose family had been craftsmen and decorators for the Staffordshire Potteries in England for generations. While owned by the Maddocks, Lamberton Works produced some of the highest quality domestic and commercial china in the world. We believe this piece is from around 1900 based on the marks/back stamps. It still has lovely colors and is in beautiful condition. Measures 15” x 9.25”. Styled with a vintage silver plate tray, sold separately in our shop. See less
