- Beautiful Papa Bear chair by Hans Wegner manufactured by A.P. Stolen. There is a Danish Control tag to the underside … more Beautiful Papa Bear chair by Hans Wegner manufactured by A.P. Stolen. There is a Danish Control tag to the underside of chair. Provenance: Purchased in 1963 from Anton Dam in Denmark, thence family descent. We believe the wool fabric to be original. It is in good age appropriate condition with some minor fading and discoloration. The wood we believe is oak, possibly teak and is in good original condition with some minor marks and scuffs. There is an incised number to the underside in the wood. There is no bottom covering. We can arrange to have one put on. less
