- Vintage; C.1980's Post modern, Signed. Francesco Ragazzi Italian, large, hand-blown Murano, in a vibrant ruby red and carnelian red combination … more Vintage; C.1980's Post modern, Signed. Francesco Ragazzi Italian, large, hand-blown Murano, in a vibrant ruby red and carnelian red combination hues, along with black, and hints of nectarine orange slivers within this, semi-ovoid tall shaped vessel Pontil. Pontil base bottom, evident as image indicates. In excellent condition, no chips, nor flea bites, with "only," perhaps a minuscule scratch or so, but had come from a Wet Palm Beach, Florida state, with a distinctive collection of Murano pieces. Piece is signed, etched underneath perimeter base, with, "F. Ragazzi Family," and below this etched is the word Murano, as image indicates. Francesco Ragazzi was born in C.1965, and took up the reins, by honing his skills in the family ancestral business in Venice, Italy. He had a distinctive, Post Modernist application toward's his Murano pieces, beyond the experimentation, which takes place and become self-identified within an ever-growing field of distinction, amongst Murano Glass Blowers, as well as having worked for the Foundry of Ferro & Lazzarini in C.1981, and during this apprenticeship, he forged and acquired processing techniques from famous glass makers, amongst a few like famous Gian Signoretto and Oscar Zanetti. He starts to produce his own signature works in 2004, after gaining his Maestro certification and following this distinction, he begins to produce under the same Murano Foundry, of Eugenio Ferro & Co., Est. C.1929, and one of the Masters within this Foundry. less
