Catalogue for the 1968 exhibit for the MUSEUM OF MODERN ART, NYC published and held in 1968. This is a 1st edition. The cover is an embossed aluminum plate with a lithographic image in six colors. The spine and back cover are also metal. The exhibit was directed to the then current state of art, manufacturing, interpretation of human contact with both and the use of THE MACHINE in art and in creating art.
Excellent condition. Cover colors are bright. The text and images are mostly black and white. A unigue and striking interpretation of the mid-century exhibit catalogue. less
