Each are covered with a generous glaze of deep red, with an under glaze of green-turquoise. Two heights: 10-3/8” and 8-1/4”.

The candlestick holders may be 20th century Chinese, however they are very likely much older. The kiln location is unknown and original receipts with details are no longer available.

Both are dramatic decorating items, and will complement an entry table, with equally bold large scale art, or in separate places in a large room of finely finished wood furniture.
