The BHAR rug by the artist Meriem Bouderbala is a true work of art. This unique piece is the result of the artist's innovative approach to merging Eastern and Western visions in her own perception of the representation of the body.
Drawing inspiration from the female figure draped or revealed in its nudity, Meriem Bouderbala creates images of great beauty, imbued with a fragility and complexity that give them great emotional depth. Her self-portraits, which she often distorts to better sublimate them, show a unique aesthetic vision and a remarkable technical mastery.
The motifs chosen for this mat are directly inspired by the artist's universe. The self-portraits of Meriem Bouderbala are represented with great finesse, in sensual and often equivocal positions. The fluid contours of these images create an impression of movement and lightness that gives the mat a poetic and airy dimension.
This exceptional piece is the result of meticulous and passionate work by the artist. It perfectly embodies her vision of art as an expression of human sensitivity and creativity, an invitation to explore the complexity of the human soul and the beauty of the nature that surrounds us.
The natural fiber used for the mat also adds to the natural aesthetic of the work. By using an environmentally friendly and sustainable material, the artist has created an art piece that is beautiful to look at and respectful of the planet. In addition to its striking appearance, this mat also offers great durability, making it a practical choice for high traffic areas
All in all, Meriem Bouderbala's BHAR mat is a work of art that evokes the beauty, complexity and duality of the human condition. It is a perfect choice for those looking to add a touch of sophistication and naturalness to their decor.
This rug can be used both outdoors and indoors. It can also be hung on the wall.
