Included are five large solid brass serving utensils and the original hanging bar, so six pieces total. You might have come across a similar set but with plastic or wooden handles. In my opinion, this set is more aesthetically pleasing due to the simple design with a single material used. Less is better sometimes. The hanging bar has the looks of the end of a skeleton key where each utensil hooks adding to the simple design.

This set was purchased in Trier, Germany at an antique shop in the 60s by my grandparents. Thr set is of French origin and has a classic, stately old world feel to them. It’s not often you come across this set,

The hanging bar can be nailed or screwed into the wall. Nails or screws not provided. There is no damage to note but, all pieces show an aged patina. I can polish the set prior to shipment if you’re interested, please just leave a comment in the “Ask a Seller” section stating you would like for it to be polished and I will happily oblige. less
