Description: Stunning and Extremely Rare English Well Figured Satinwood and Rosewood Crossbanded Gentleman’s Speciman Cabinet of compact proportions, early Nineteenth Century, … more Stunning and Extremely Rare English Well Figured Satinwood and Rosewood Crossbanded Gentleman’s Speciman Cabinet of compact proportions, early Nineteenth Century, possibly Regency.

The twin top hinged lid flaps with border satinwood cross banding each corner with fan detail decoration, opening to reveal a glazed plain velvet lined interior, above a single drawer with four polished brass drop handles, supported on four plain tapering square legs.

Condition: Good allover condition for such an early piece. Few old inlay repairs. Wonderful rich satinwood figuring and colour.
