this is just a great original piece. When I bought this painting I was told that it is by the well listed swiss modernist carl hartig (1888-1975). Because it is only signed in big letters on the back of the canvas, I am only selling it as attributed to carl hartig. Based on my research I think it is by him because the style of the work looks very much like many of the paintings he did and the signature on the back looks like the way he did his last name. Regardless, it is a wonderful mid century still life work. Oil on canvas measuring 20 x 26 inches. Excellent original condition. Really as painted with wonderful colors and composition. Original linen lined frame is complimentary and ready to hang, though it shows some loss and chips. Really a very good presentation. Frame measures 26 1/2 x 32 1/2 inches. less
