Made of thick dark blue, blue and clear Murano glass. Can be used as as an ashtray, small bowl or as a vide poche/catch-all. Original label still readable (can be removed very easily if needed). Width: 5.7''; depth: 5.3''; height: 2.4''. Excellent vintage condition.

''Sommerso'' is a technique developed in Murano in the 1930s which became very popular in the 1950s/60s. The result is a glass with contrasting colours that is commonly caused by a clear layer. less
