Orange glass with a very thick crystal clear glass overlay internaly decorated with a black spiral. Signed with: "orrefors expo a 247 73 olle alberius". Weight 6.6 kilos (14 lb). A rare piece of mid-century modern scandinavian glass design.

olle alberius (1926 - 1993) was a swedish glass designer and ceramicist. Among other things, he was one of the orrefors artists who brought the ariel glassblowing technique to perfection. Measures: height: 5.71" (14.5 cm) diameter: 6.3" (16 cm)
