Vintage 1973 Avon "TIFFANY STYLE LAMP" Sonnet Cologne Decanter.
Bottle is Full 5 oz. Little to no evaporation and likely new and unopened. Includes the box.
Amber Glass cologne container, plastic lamp shade. Measures 10" Tall. By 5” wide.

Avon is the oldest beauty company in the US starting in 1886! David McConnell was initially going door to door selling books. The story goes he offered small vials of perfume to increase interest in his books. Due to more demand in the scents he switched to selling perfumes! He formed a company in 1886. One of the best sellers was named ‘Avon’. So in 1939 he changed the company name to Avon.
In the 60’s Avon began offering bottles designed after cars, animals, figures that offered a decorative item once perfume was used. Today, Avon is a collectible item. Most valuable with perfume, sticker, and the box!
