The finishes of gilt and black bent iron show wear, chips and paint loss, most notably at the bottom of the frame. The open work stylized figure of a dancing nude woman shows well from both sides. A handle is positioned on both the front and back as well. Provenance: Jackson's International Auctioneers, purchased 2017. This is a high quality installation of art that could be used in a practical manner as a door or gate, inside or out.
