It is the shade only you will need to purchase the drop down pendant socket with electrical cord of your choosing. The opening on top of the pendant for threading the cord measures approximately 1/2". The lamp overall measurements are 14″ diameter and 3.75″ tall. Ideal locations are over island counter tops and bar area. The inside is hand painted and the outer is all white. Wiring and bulb not included. New never used. less
