George Renouard, was born in Rochester, New York and lived much of his life in Brooklyn and Manhattan, was a graphic artist, painter and art educator. His paintings frequently portray scenes and subjects from Cape Anne, Long Island and Brooklyn. Renouard exhibited throughout his career including the annual exhibitions at the National Academy of Design and the Art Institute of Chicago.
