Their sides and bottoms are in oak.
Above, a large cylinder opens with two bronze ring handles with rosette. Inside, a large shelf slides out with the help of two finger cavities, revealing a large writing space.
This shelf is trimmed with three black leathers with a cold vignette and a gold vignette. In the center, a flap rises with a small finger ring and adjusts at the back.
At the back, there are four identical drawers with a maple burr front decorated with a mahogany knob. Below, four false drawers with an identical front appear when the writing tablet is opened. We also find eight mahogany niches.
This Directoire cylinder desk has sleek sides highlighted by a rush.
The whole rests on sheathed feet with brass shoes.
The top, also in solid mahogany, has a molding around its edge.
