A great, original, mid-century painting of a stylized cityscape, maybe Venice Italy? Rich period colors of yellow-green, orange, dark yellow, raw umber and cream. Signed in the lower right corner. The canvas is not matted so the uneven edge of the paint created by the artist can be seen, including some jotted numbers in the upper right corner. The canvas is not stretched on a frame, but is behind low-sheen glass. The original dark wood frame has a nice period detail in the popular-at-the-time color, avocado.
All new acid-free backing material and dust cover. Canvas is approximately 10.75" x 12.5"
Frame is 12.75" wide and 14.75" tall.
