- Here is a wonderful chair designed by Chiavari and made in Italy in the 1950's. The chair features an exaggerated … more Here is a wonderful chair designed by Chiavari and made in Italy in the 1950's. The chair features an exaggerated ladder-back with shorter legs/lower seat. The entire frame is made of brass which has aged and patina'd very nicely. At the top of the back are fantastic finials and the legs end in cute rounded feet. The seat pad has just been reupholstered in a chic boucle. It's perfect as a vanity chair (where you can style it with scarves, etc), as side chair or even as a side table. less
